THE ROLE The Counselling and Restorative Engagement team is part of Family Services, Evidence, Redress and Lived Experience. The team manages the operational aspects of counselling and restorative engagement for three redress programs including Redress for the Historical Institutional Abuse (Redress) program. Redress has been set up for people who experienced abuse and neglect in historic institutional settings in Victoria prior to 1990.

This position will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, support services, other government departments, facilitators and senior executives to provide trauma-informed support to Redress clients who choose to engage in restorative engagement processes.
