About the role

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to work closely with management and delivery teams, owning tenders from documents through to handover.

As Senior Estimator, you'll:

- Assess drawings, schedules and specifications; identify scope gaps, risks and clarification requirements.
- Complete take-offs, measurements and bills of quantities using CostX, Cubit, Bluebeam or equivalent.
- Prepare trade packages and scopes of works; engage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Analyse and qualify quotations, exclusions and allowances, and confirm scope coverage.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans, including preliminaries, plant, materials and subcontract costs.
- Evaluate alternative construction solutions and value engineering opportunities.
- Present pricing assumptions and tender recommendations, and support post-tender negotiations.
- Document and present estimate and scope handovers to the delivery team.

To be successful You'll bring the following experience and abilities:

- At least five years' experience as a construction estimator.




- Demonstrated experience winning tenders with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 contractor on new builds, refurbishments and fit-outs from $1m to $10m.
- Strong knowledge of structural and building services disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire.
- Proficiency in estimating software and the ability to produce accurate cost estimates and BOQs.
- The ability to manage tenders independently, organise competing priorities and meet submission deadlines.
- Clear communication, commercial judgement and confidence to substantiate your pricing.
- Healthcare or Defence sector experience will be well regarded.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
