Join the National Anti-Scam Centre in a pivotal role coordinating day-to-day branch operations and supporting a senior executive of a high-profile branch. As a Senior Executive Assistant / Branch Coordinator, you will combine strategic coordination, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership to ensure the branch operates effectively and efficiently. This is a dynamic role suited to an organised and proactive skilled who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently manage competing priorities while building positive relationships across the organisation.

You will have the opportunity to influence business processes, support key governance activities, and make a meaningful contribution to one of the ACCC's most important areas of work.

· Lead Branch Operations and Administration

Oversee the branch's administrative functions, identify opportunities to improve business processes, and ensure effective record keeping, reporting, and operational coordination across the team.

· Workforce and Branch Coordination

Coordinate functions such as recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, updating intranet content, workforce administration, and key business activities that support the branch's ongoing capability and performance.

· Executive Support to a Senior Leader

Provide trusted, high-level support to the General Manager of the National Anti-Scam Centre, managing competing priorities,



coordinating commitments, and ensuring the smooth operation of a fast-paced executive office.

· Stakeholder Engagement and Governance Support

Work closely with senior leaders, internal teams, and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings, support governance processes, manage branch-wide activities, and promote compliance with organisational policies and requirements.

All candidates are expected to meet the APS Integrated Leadership Profile (ILS) for the classification advertised. Follow the link for more information on the ILS. This role in particular requires:

· Previous experience providing executive support in a similar role.

· Ability to learn new technology and tools as required.

· A basic understanding of the ACCC and National Anti-Scam Centre’s role, purpose and objectives (or the ability to attain such knowledge quickly).

· Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.

· Proven ability to make sound decisions on tasks with considerable complexity and sensitivity, whilst maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.

The following job specific criteria are also highly desirable:

· Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics and iManage.

· Ability to draft and maintain Intranet content.
