Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

What you’ll do
As a Senior I&C; Engineer based in Gladstone, you'll be delivering projects across the mining and resources, oil and gas and water sectors and joining a team with deep local electrical expertise, strengthening our instrumentation and control capability.
You'll contribute to projects and programs that support the future and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
You'll play a hands-on role in the design, integration and delivery of instrumentation, control and communication systems that support critical infrastructure and industrial operations, while contributing to our client relationships in the Gladstone region. You will:
- Deliver the design and integration of instrumentation, control and communication systems across complex industrial infrastructure projects.
- Provide trusted technical guidance on I&C; system architecture, integration, automation and best-practice engineering solutions.
- Partner with electrical, mechanical, process and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Build and strengthen relationships with local Gladstone clients, contributing to the team's ongoing pipeline of local work.
- Support and mentor emerging engineers, fostering technical capability and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to successful project delivery by managing technical quality, schedules, budgets and project risks.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical or I&C; Engineering
- RPEQ (Elect. or ITEE)
highly desirable, with candidates working towards certification also considered.
- Significant experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C;) systems within industrial environments.
- Experience delivering design solutions across industrial, manufacturing, resources, energy, water or process industries.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence outcomes across multidisciplinary teams
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to technical excellence.
