It means more than years of experience.
Our Senior Clinicians are trusted as clinical leaders within the organisation.
You'll continue to maintain your own clinical practice while also having opportunities to:
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship
- Support clinicians with complex presentations and clinical decision-making
- Lead case discussions and professional learning
- Develop clinical resources, frameworks and tools
- Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement
- Lead or contribute to innovative service-delivery models
- Build relationships with community and referral partners
- Support emerging clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
- Contribute to workforce and service-development discussions
- Take ownership of a defined clinical portfolio or area of practice
Our Senior Clinician framework is designed for clinicians ready to move beyond being solely an individual contributor and have an impact across clients, clinicians and services.
Help Shape Occupational Therapy at LWT
Look Who’s Talking is a multidisciplinary allied health practice bringing together Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Music Therapy and Allied Health Assistance.
Our OT services currently have a strong paediatric and adolescent foundation, supporting areas including sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, functional participation, neurodiversity-affirming practice, functional capacity assessments and assistive technology.
But we're growing.
We're particularly interested in continuing to expand our Occupational Therapy services across the lifespan, including adult, community and aged-care opportunities.
If you have an established area of expertise — or an area of OT practice you're passionate about developing — we'd love to explore what that could look like here.
More Than Five Identical Clinic Days
Your role can extend well beyond traditional one-to-one clinic therapy.
Depending on your experience, interests and organisational needs, there are opportunities across:
Clinic-based practice | Community | Schools | Early Childhood | Groups | Training & Consulting | Service Development | Clinical Supervision
We also work collaboratively across disciplines through joint sessions, shared assessments, group programs and integrated intervention planning.
Our community days are strategically planned to minimise unnecessary travel, while our school and early childhood partnerships provide opportunities to work with educators and communities through intervention, observation, coaching and capacity building.
Supported — Even When You’re Senior
We don't believe becoming experienced means you stop needing support.
Every clinician has a designated line manager and a designated clinical supervisor, intentionally kept as separate roles.
For our established clinicians, this includes weekly line management and fortnightly clinical supervision. As clinicians progress further into leadership, external supervision can also be explored where appropriate.
You'll also be supported by a dedicated Client Care team that manages much of the scheduling, assessment bookings, billing, invoicing and NDIS administration surrounding your caseload.
You became an OT to be an OT — not an OT, receptionist, biller and administrator all at once.
About You
We'd love to meet an Occupational Therapist who:
- Has 5-7+ years' clinical experience or demonstrated equivalent advanced capability
- Has strong clinical reasoning and confidence managing complex presentations
- Values evidence-based, person- and family-centred practice
- Enjoys mentoring, supporting and developing others
- Is a confident communicator and relationship builder
- Enjoys multidisciplinary collaboration
- Is proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused
- Wants to contribute to service development and continuous improvement
- Is excited by the opportunity to influence the future of a growing OT service
Experience in clinical supervision, leadership, student supervision, functional capacity assessment, assistive technology, community practice, NDIS, school or early childhood services, adult practice or aged care would be highly regarded. Our Senior Clinician framework recognises 7+ years' clinical experience or demonstrated equivalent advanced capability — so if the role sounds like you, don't rule yourself out because of a number.

- Current AHPRA registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Full Australian working rights
