Role Description

Are you a proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for leading projects and driving results through collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking ? We're looking for a dynamic, energetic, and self driven Project Professional to join our team and become a key player in delivering successful projects / programs.

This is a hybrid role for Senior Project Manager / Associate Director located in Melbourne, VIC with flexibility for part-time and full-time options. Some work from home is also supported where possible. The primary responsibilities include managing projects / programs from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet client requirements, overseeing project logistics and scheduling, and leading a dedicated and passionate team.

The role also involves coordinating inspections, expediting processes, and maintaining explicit communication with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a Project Professional with experience working in the built environment, preferably within the consulting Project Management space. Relevant to level applying for,



this includes:

- Understanding of construction contracts.
- Full life cycle experience from concept to handover.
- Expert project management skills and experience coordinating consultants and contractors.
- Clear and decisive decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail, including document management and record keeping.
- Strong understanding of budget management, experience reporting on project budgets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiar liaising with clients, design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with and leading a team
- Robust and clear written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people, be an effective communicator, be able to make informed decisions,



drive conversations and outcomes, and have general business acumen.

Responsibilities

- Direct and oversee completion of project
- Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans
- Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks, and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Ensure projects adhere to high-quality standards, project requirements, and relevant regulations
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when needed to keep the project on track.

Must haves

- Diploma or Masters in Project Management (or similar relevant field)
- minimum 10+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields

- Communication skills: Both written and verbal communication skills are key.
- Attention to detail: Accuracy in record-keeping, filing, and managing documents.
- Technical proficiency: Competency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, MS Project, SharePoint)
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to handle issues as they arise, especially in an office / virtual setting.
- Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Financial quotient: Experience with Finance-related tasks and record-keeping
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setting
