The Opportunity
We're looking for a Team Leader, Insurance Services to lead a high-performing team supporting insurance and family law administration services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused leader who enjoys coaching teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional member outcomes in a dynamic and highly regulated environment.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in fostering an engaged team culture, improving processes, managing risk and compliance obligations, and ensuring service delivery targets are achieved.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Insurance Services and Family Law specialists, creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
- Manage team workflows, resource planning and service delivery to ensure operational targets, quality standards and member service expectations are consistently met.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities to enhance processes and support the successful implementation of business and technology changes.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
managing escalations and enquiries effectively while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Monitor performance, quality and reporting outcomes, providing regular feedback, recognition and development support to team members.
- Promote a strong risk, governance and compliance culture, ensuring adherence to legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Support workforce capability through cross-skilling, succession planning and effective communication of business priorities and industry changes.
What you'll bring
- Experience leading, coaching or mentoring teams within insurance, superannuation, financial services or a related operational environment.
- Knowledge of insurance, superannuation and/or family law administration, including relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
- Experience managing operational workflows, service levels, quality assurance outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, alongside a proactive and adaptable leadership style.
