The Senior Systems Administrator role will strengthen our internal technology capability across both our corporate and engineering environments.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who likes being close to the technology. You’ll work across infrastructure, systems, security, Microsoft 365, Linux environments and external technology providers, while helping us build more scalable and reliable IT practices as the business grows.

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working closely with our Engineering function, you’ll play an important role in supporting day-to-day technology operations while also contributing to infrastructure planning, systems improvement and future capability requirements.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, reliability and security of our IT setting, including:

- Administering and maintaining Linux-based servers, systems and services.
- Managing Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Defender.
- Supporting on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure.




- Managing user identities, permissions, access controls and endpoint administration.
- Troubleshooting systems, applications, infrastructure and end-user technology issues.
- Supporting backup, recovery, patching, monitoring and lifecycle management.
- Coordinating IT support, infrastructure activities and projects delivered through external MSPs and technology vendors.
- Supporting software deployment, licensing, device provisioning and asset management.
- Maintaining system documentation, procedures and configuration records.
- Supporting cyber security controls and ongoing improvements to the security of the environment.
- Identifying opportunities to automate, simplify and improve IT systems and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience administering Linux environments.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
- Experience supporting on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
