Service Manager role responsible for overseeing the maintenance, compliance, safety, and performance of a large heavy vehicle fleet, primarily consisting of Kenworth prime movers and trailers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the workshop and maintenance team
- Ensure fleet reliability, safety, presentation, and compliance
- Continuous improvement to preventative maintenance programs
- Work closely with operations to maximise uptime and improve fleet performance
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventories, suppliers, and reporting systems
About you
- Robust maintenance experience within the transport industry
- Understanding of heavy vehicle maintenance, particularly Kenworth equipment
- Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Standards
- Leadership, communication, organisational, and planning skills
- Diesel mechanic trade qualifications and fleet maintenance software experience are desirable
