Service is seeking a highly organised and community-focused SEWB Intake Administration Officer to support the delivery of our Nurturing Spirits Program across Rockhampton, Mount Morgan, and Blackwater. This is more than an administration role. It is an opportunity to be the first point of contact for community members seeking support and to play a vital role in connecting individuals, families, and communities with culturally safe Social and Emotional Wellbeing services. Working alongside Elders, community members, wellbeing practitioners, and key stakeholders, you will help ensure people receive the right support at the right time while contributing to stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

About the Nurturing Spirits Program The Nurturing Spirits Program is a Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) initiative focused on strengthening:
• Cultural identity and connection • Healing and resilience • Social and emotional wellbeing • Community participation and inclusion • Youth engagement and mentorship • Stronger and healthier families and communities The program works alongside individuals and communities to deliver culturally safe support services, wellbeing activities,
education, referral pathways, and community-led initiatives that promote healing and positive outcomes.

About the Role
As the Nurturing Spirits Intake Administration Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating referrals, managing intake processes, maintaining client communication, and supporting the overall delivery of the Nurturing Spirits Program. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for many community members seeking support and will play an important role in ensuring clients are connected with the most appropriate services and programs. The role includes a combination of client intake, administration, stakeholder engagement, data management, and community support activities.

Essential Requirements
- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and demonstrate a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, cultures, and values.
- Qualification in Business Administration, Community Services, Health Administration, Mental Health,
Social Services, Indigenous Studies, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience in administration, intake coordination, community services, health services, or client support roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality, qualified boundaries, and culturally safe service delivery.
- Strong organisational and computer skills.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region.
Desirable
- Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCHO).
- Understanding of Social and Emotional Wellbeing models of care.
- Experience using client management or electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of mental health, trauma-informed practice, and referral pathways.
- Experience supporting community engagement and wellbeing programs.
