Solutions Consultant - Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace

We're working with a growing technology consulting practice looking for a Solutions Consultant to join their Modern Workplace team.

This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who combines solid Microsoft 365 / SharePoint technical capability with the confidence to work directly with clients, manage projects and deliver solutions independently.

The immediate project pipeline is heavily focused on M365 migrations, SharePoint and Microsoft Purview/data governance, with exciting growth opportunities across AI, Copilot and Power Platform.

About the role

You'll take ownership of client projects and workstreams from discovery and design through to implementation, documentation, training and handover.

You'll be responsible for

- Delivering Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace solutions
- Designing and configuring SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and M365 applications
- Delivering SharePoint and M365 migrations, including file servers, legacy SharePoint, Google and tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Working with Microsoft Purview and data governance
- Supporting Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
- Working directly with clients to understand requirements and develop practical solutions
- Producing solution, design, support and handover documentation
- Supporting testing, deployment and troubleshooting
- Managing multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of delivery

About you

We're looking for a mid-senior level consultant who can operate autonomously and is comfortable being client-facing.

You'll ideally have

- Strong Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace and SharePoint experience
- Proven M365 / SharePoint migration experience
- Microsoft Purview or data governance experience
- Exposure to Power Platform / Power Apps




- Understanding of Azure and Entra
- Exposure to Copilot / AI technologies is highly desirable
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and consulting skills
- The ability to independently manage projects and workstreams
- A practical, collaborative and delivery-focused approach

Experience with ShareGate, AvePoint FLY, Migration Manager, Nintex or SharePoint Designer will be highly regarded.

This is a Melbourne-based role with a mix of office and client-site work. Remote working is not available.
