Skilled General Hand - Engineering Construction (Civil)
- Salary: $73,145 per annum ($1,406 per week)

The City is looking for a Skilled General Hand in Engineering Construction to assist with the maintenance and construction of its roads, drainage infrastructure and associated assets. This is a hands-on civil construction role with a strong focus on road and asphalt maintenance and construction works. Applicants must have a minimum of two years' experience in civil construction, roadworks, asphalt works, drainage installation and maintenance, and the operation of various plant and equipment including excavators, cement mixers, quick cuts and concrete cutters. The successful candidate will undertake a range of civil construction and maintenance activities while delivering exceptional customer service to the City's residents,
ratepayers and employees. Essential Licences & Tickets
- WA HR Class Driver’s Licence
- Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card)
Training supported The City is committed to supporting the right person to obtain the additional certificates required for success in this role. Training will be provided where the successful applicant does not already hold:
- Current Excavator Operator Ticket
- Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
