About Lume
Lume is a clean beauty store and treatment space on Oxford Street, Paddington. We stock a curated edit of skincare, body and fragrance brands, and our treatment room offers Vogue-recognised facials, skin needling, peels, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Around half of what we do is treatments, and our clients come to us through reputation and word of mouth.
We are a small senior team, and we hire permanent staff because we invest in training people in the Lume way of working.
The role
You will deliver our facial and advanced skin treatments, and advise clients on the retail products that support their results at home. The work spans:
- Signature and seasonal facials, including massage-led and buccal techniques
- Skin needling on the Exceed device (FDA and TGA cleared)
- Skin consultations and home-care recommendations from our retail range
- Helping on the retail floor between appointments
About you
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy (SHB50121 or equivalent),
or a dermal therapy qualification
- At least two years' experience in a skin clinic, day spa or treatment-focused salon
- Skin needling experience is highly regarded; we will train the right person on our protocols
- Confident discussing ingredients and formulations with clients
- Available on weekends as part of your regular roster
- Current first aid certificate, or willing to obtain one
