$725 per day including Superannuation

Altitude is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to join a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.

You will play a key role in a data platform initiative for a major Australian organisation, with a strong focus on marketing personalisation. Your work will centre on designing and building the Snowflake data foundation that powers personalised customer experiences, including integration with the Adobe marketing ecosystem.

This position blends architecture with hands on delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys shaping the design and then bringing it to life.

Key responsibilities

- Design scalable Snowflake data architectures to support marketing personalisation use cases
- Architect and deliver integration between Snowflake and Adobe platforms
- Build and optimise ELT pipelines using Snowflake native features, including Tasks, Streams and Snowpipe, along with dbt
- Implement data governance and security controls, including role-based access control (RBAC) and PII protection
- Tune performance and optimise costs across the Snowflake environment
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to turn personalisation requirements into data solutions

About you





- Extensive experience in data engineering and data architecture
- Strong, hands-on Snowflake experience (essential)
- Proven experience building ELT pipelines with Snowflake native tooling and dbt
- Solid understanding of data governance, security and privacy, particularly handling PII
- Experience with performance tuning and cost optimisation in cloud data platforms
- Exposure to marketing, customer data or personalisation platforms, ideally Adobe (Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP or similar), is highly regarded
- Clear communicator who can work comfortably with both technical and business teams
- Sydney based and available immediately or at short notice
