The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to help grow EMU Australia’s global audience, social channels and brand awareness.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves social media, has strong creative vision and knows how to build an engaged community. You’ll shape our global social strategy, create scroll-stopping content and find meaningful opportunities for EMU to join relevant conversations. Working closely with the rest of the marketing team in Australia and London, as well as external creators and agency partners, you’ll help bring the EMU story and products to life across digital channels.

We’re a busy organisation, so we’re looking for someone who’s happy to hit the ground running, work collaboratively and get things done.

What You'll Do

- Social & Content: Manage our global social channels and content calendar, ensuring channels remain relevant, engaging and aligned with the brand.
- Paid & Organic Alignment: Collaborate with our performance media agency on paid social campaigns to build brand awareness, drive traffic and support online sales growth.
- Influencer & UGC Coordination: Manage influencer, UGC and product seeding activity in collaboration with the Europe Communications Manager.
- PR & Brand Growth: Help develop and deliver our PR strategy across ANZ, identifying opportunities across events, activations, media platforms to drive brand visibility.
- Content Creation: Produce short-form content end-to-end, from ideation and filming to editing and publishing.
- Partnership & Production: Brief and manage photographers, videographers, creators and agency partners to deliver high-quality assets.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor social metrics and apply learnings to optimise content and channel strategy.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience managing brand social media channels, content creation,



and PR or influencer partnerships.
- Practical skills in filming, editing, and producing engaging short-form social content preferred.
- An understanding of how organic social, paid media and PR work together to support brand awareness and commercial growth.
- Strong communication skills with experience working alongside international teams, agencies and external creators.
- A natural pulse on social media trends, digital culture and relevant brand moments.
