Social Media Manager & Content Creator – Bridal Boutique

As the Social Media Manager and Content Creator, I will help build the boutique’s online presence from the ground up, documenting the journey from startup through to opening and ongoing operation.

The focus will be on creating an authentic and engaging social media presence that allows future brides to follow the story, get to know the brand, and become excited about the boutique before it officially opens.

Startup & Behind-the-Scenes Content

At the beginning of the project, I will focus on capturing the boutique’s journey as it comes together, including:

- Documenting the startup process and behind-the-scenes journey.
- Capturing the boutique space as it is developed and transformed.
- Creating content around branding, styling, interior setup, signage, displays, and other preparations.
- Capturing gown arrivals, unboxing, steaming, organising and displaying gowns.
- Introducing the boutique, its story, values, and vision.
- Creating behind-the-scenes Reels and Stories throughout the setup process.
- Capturing the excitement and milestones leading up to the opening.
- Building anticipation for the boutique’s launch and first appointments.

Ongoing Social Media Management

Once the boutique is established, I will manage the ongoing social media presence across agreed platforms, including:

- Developing a monthly content plan.
- Creating and scheduling Instagram and Facebook content.
- Creating Reels, Stories, posts and other short-form content.
- Writing captions that reflect the boutique’s brand and appeal to brides-to-be.
- Showcasing gowns, designers, accessories, styling and the bridal experience.
- Capturing real brides and their experiences, where permission is provided.




- Highlighting new arrivals, promotions, events and important boutique updates.
- Monitoring comments and relevant engagement.
- Using relevant hashtags, keywords and trending content where appropriate.
- Monitoring social media trends and identifying opportunities for content.
- Reviewing basic monthly insights and adjusting content based on performance.

Content Capture A key part of the role will be capturing original content directly within the boutique. This means the social media will not rely solely on supplied photos or stock content — the audience will be able to see the real people, real space and real journey behind the business.

The content will evolve as the boutique does, moving from “we're building something” to “we're opening our doors” and eventually to “come experience your bridal journey with us.”

Overall Goal The goal is to build a strong social media presence from the very beginning, create excitement around the boutique, establish its brand identity, and develop an engaged audience of potential brides.

Rather than simply posting once the boutique is open, the social media will tell the story of the business from day one, allowing potential customers to feel connected to the brand before they ever step through the doors.

Estimated package: $500/month based on approximately 3 hours per week at $40/hour.

Open to change based on experience.

The package covers social media management and agreed content capture. Additional photography/videography sessions, paid advertising management, influencer campaigns, and work outside the agreed hours or scope can be quoted separately.

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 per week
