Role Description The Solar and Battery Sales Consultant is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC. In this position, the consultant meets with prospective customers, assesses their energy needs, and recommends tailored solar and battery solutions. Daily tasks include conducting in-person and phone consultations, preparing and presenting quotes, explaining technical and financial benefits in clear terms, and following up on leads to close sales.

The role involves collaborating with installation and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.



The consultant is expected to provide exceptional customer service, support customers through the decision-making process, and contribute to ongoing sales targets and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills to assess customer needs and recommend suitable solar and battery solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to manage expectations, build trust, and support customers before and after the sale.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language and present proposals clearly.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar, energy, or related technical products.
- Comfort working in an on-site, customer-facing environment in Melbourne, VIC.
- Basic understanding of solar PV and battery storage systems, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for customer appointments is must.
