Multicultural Story Time Program

We are seeking a skilled Spanish Storyteller / Group Facilitator with experience working with children aged 3–5 years to lead engaging weekly sessions for our Multicultural Story Time program. The successful candidate will deliver 2-hour sessions once per week, providing an interactive, creative, and culturally enriching experience for young participants.

Key Responsibilities

- Session Leadership: Design and lead 45-minute Spanish storytelling sessions using traditional Spanish stories, songs, games, and activities tailored to engage children aged 3–5 years.
- Planning: Prepare and deliver lesson plans, including educational materials and supporting resources.
- Facilitation: Encourage active participation and engagement through play-based learning methods.
- Environment: Build positive relationships with participants and foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of session attendance, participation, and feedback.
- Collaboration: Participate in regular program team meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and address any challenges or concerns.

Requirements

- Language Proficiency: Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and culture (speaking, reading,



and writing).
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience working with children aged 3–5 years in a childcare or educational setting.
- Expertise: Experience in storytelling, group facilitation, or teaching young children.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work with diverse groups of children and adapt to individual learning needs.
- Compliance: Valid Working With Children Check, Police Clearance, and 100-point ID.

Work Schedule

- Hours: 2-hour session per week for the remaining project period 2026.
- Compensation: Award Rate.
