We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist for Australian Islamic College, role involves travelling between AIC schools in Perth.

As a Speech Therapist with the Australian Islamic College, you will work alongside a wide range of diverse children to build their capacity. You will encounter children with already diagnosed learning difficulties who require support, as well as children requiring assessment and support.

In this role you will facilitate Speech Pathology services for our students. This involves the application of high-level expertise to work with children who have physical, neurodevelopmental, or mental health conditions associated with developmental delays. Assessment is a significant aspect of this role, coupled with providing intervention services.

In this role, you will be assisting vulnerable children from a culturally and linguistically diverse community to overcome the impact of developmental delays to achieve their full potential.

Essential Criteria:

- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology recognised in Australia
- Current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP)



status with Speech Pathology Australia
- A minimum of one-year post-graduate clinical experience
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably within educational settings
- Strong skills in assessment, report writing, consultation, parent engagement, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to independently manage service delivery across multiple campuses

The role involves:

- Conducting communication, language, literacy, and speech assessments
- Completing observations, screening, report writing, and recommendations
- Collaborating with staff, families, external providers, and the wider Allied Health team
- Supporting NCCD processes, Individual Education Plans, and student advocacy
- Providing career development and capacity-building for staff
- Contributing to service development and allied health initiatives across AIC
- To offer information sessions or workshops for parents for home-based strategies.
- Maintain a database of work conducted and regularly provide a summary report to Executive Principal / CEO or their delegate.
