About the Role

Are you a relationship-driven professional who thrives on building partnerships, creating opportunities, and making a difference in people’s lives?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our Education & Training team on a full-time, 6-month contract based in the Werribee region, Melbourne (with a view to extend subject to performance).

Reporting to the Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and referrals to our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) National Distance Program.

The SEE Program is a government-funded initiative that helps eligible participants build their language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills, enabling them to engage more effectively in education, employment and everyday life.

You will be responsible for building relationships with Employment Services Providers, community organisations and other stakeholders, increasing participant referrals, and expanding awareness of the program across the employment and community sectors. Through proactive stakeholder engagement and strategic partnership development, you will help connect participants with our Distance delivery model, providing flexible access to training that supports their education, employment and social participation goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong relationship management and business development skills with a passion for delivering positive outcomes for individuals and their communities.

Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with referring agencies, employment service providers and community stakeholders.




- Promoting MTC's Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) National Distance Program to increase referrals and participant engagement.
- Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities to support program growth.
- Managing stakeholder engagement activities through Salesforce CRM.
- Monitoring labour market trends and identifying emerging opportunities within the employment services sector.
- Collaborating with internal teams to support program delivery and organisational objectives.
- Representing MTC at networking events, stakeholder meetings and community forums.
- Engaging with employers to develop pre-employment pathways, training opportunities and work experience placements.
- Identifying and addressing training gaps within local communities by consulting with community organisations and other stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continuous growth and success of MTC's Education & Training programs through proactive stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A minimum of two years' experience within Employment Services or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, account management, sales or business development.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills.
- A proven ability to achieve referral, sales or performance targets.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Workforce Australia, Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) and government-funded programs such as SEE, CTA, EST and SEA.
- An understanding of local labour market trends and workforce development initiatives.
