About us
Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC) is a leading Australian managed, UK owned Agribusiness with solid ESG values. CPC owns and operates a portfolio of eleven station aggregations in Australia and two feedlots in Indonesia. Across more than 6 million hectares of land, the CPC team are able to care for more than 400,000 head of cattle, 50,000 goats, 150,000 sheep and produce a diverse range of crops.
About Madura Plains
Madura Plains is located east of Eucla, WA, near the South Australian border on the Nullarbor Plain. Covering approximately 712,000 hectares, the station has a striking landscape of open plains, coastal country, low limestone rises and semi-arid grazing areas with blue bush, salt bush and spear grass. It plays an important role in CPC's sheep and wool operations, producing quality merino wool and sheep meat from its flock.
About you
Your key duties and tasks
- Flying a Cessna 172
- Follow safe operating procedures
- Checking stock watering points
- Spotting of livestock
- Flying to local townships for supplies and parts for the station
- Seasonally checking for grass fires across the station
- Cleaning of aircraft and hanger
- General station work or maintenance when not flying
What you will need
- Commercial Pilot Licence (Fixed Wing Aeroplane)
- Cessna 172 experience
- Operate in controlled airspace with a current ASIC Card (Red)
- Current Medical
- Current and valid driver's licence (manual)
- Live and work on a remote cattle station
- Willingness to carry out other station roles when not flying
*All licences and medicals must be current
Immediate start is available
Preferable, but not essential
- 300TT (minimum hours)
- Low Level Rating (Aeroplane)
- Retractable undercarriage endorsement
- Constant Speed Unit (CSU)

Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding job that includes both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments.
This job can be physically strenuous (demanding) from time to time. You will be expected to be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull from 5-10-20 kilo's and occasionally more. This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders.
