About the role

Mater is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Storepersons to join our Supply Chain Operations team at our South Brisbane location with an immediate start. We have both casual and permanent full-time positions available. This is an exciting prospect to contribute to the efficient management of inventory and warehouse operations within a leading not-for-profit healthcare organisation.

If you are proactive and customer-focused, this position allows you to play a vital part in supporting quality stock control and seamless service delivery to Mater Health customers.

Salary range: $32.82 - $35.39 per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse, ensuring timely and consistent delivery to our healthcare teams. You will support stocktake activities and maintain high standards of inventory and imprest management, working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Operations team to resolve issues promptly. Your role will also involve participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and service quality.

About you To be considered successful for this position you should:

- Demonstrated experience in warehousing operations, ideally within a large or complex organisation
- Proficient in using inventory management platforms, including imprest management systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Commitment to workplace health and safety, with a focus on quality and compliance
