Role Overview: Join Calibre’s dynamic team as a Structural Boilermaker, responsible for executing a variety of essential tasks including: Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and assemble high-quality metal components for infrastructure, mining, and industrial engineering projects. 2. Interpret detailed fabrication and structural drawings provided by Calibre’s engineering design team. 3. Conduct welding operations in accordance with Australian Standards using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet technical specifications and project timelines. 5. Carry out site-based installations of fabricated structures and components when required. 6. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols and specifications.
- Participate in safety planning, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). 8.



Assist in the prototyping and development of custom metal solutions for Calibre’s engineering designs.
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and machinery in optimal condition. 10. Ensure all work complies with relevant OH&S;, WHS, and environmental regulations. Key Tasks:
- Cut, shape, join, and finish metal components using machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, band saws, and grinders. 2. Perform precision welding and metalwork on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium for engineering applications. 3. Read and interpret structural drawings, sketches, and CAD plans provided by the engineering department.
- Assemble mechanical supports, access platforms, frames, and structural fittings for engineering systems. 5. Install fabricated parts at client sites, including resource industry and infrastructure projects. 6. Conduct mechanical fitting of fabricated assemblies, ensuring alignment and load integrity.
- Perform quality checks and document outcomes in accordance with Calibre’s quality management system. 8. Use EWP, forklifts, and rigging gear to manoeuvre and install heavy materials safely. Requirements:

A trade certificate or equivalent qualification in Metal Fabrication - Boilermaker. Relevant on-the- job experience may substitute for formal qualifications where applicable. Benefits:
