Total Metering Services (TMS) is seeking a skilled, professional and reliable electrician to join our growing team as a Team Leader / Electrical Field Supervisor based in Brisbane Metro Region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who is ready to take the next step into a leadership and supervisory role while remaining involved in field operations. You will report directly to the State Service Delivery Manager.
About the Role
As a Team Leader / Electrical Field Supervisor, you will support the successful delivery of field operations while providing guidance and leadership to technicians across the Brisbane Metro Region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, supervise and support field technicians across the Brisbane Metro Region.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and real-time coaching to team members.
- Ensure all work meets TMS procedures, client requirements and legislative obligations.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture and monitor compliance with SWMS, PPE and Work Instructions.
- Conduct site visits, field audits and quality checks to maintain high work standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting, fault identification and resolution of onsite issues.
- Work closely with Works Coordination and management to support efficient job delivery and scheduling.
- Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with clients, technicians and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in field processes, documentation, quality and performance.
- Support technician onboarding, training and competency development while promoting accountability and skilled standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A fully qualified and licensed electrician.
- Experienced in electrical field work and comfortable working independently.
- Confident providing guidance and support to other technicians.
- A strong communicator with good leadership and organisational skills.
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused.
- Able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
- Comfortable travelling locally throughout the Brisbane Metro Region.
- Metering experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous supervisory, team leader or mentoring experience will be highly regarded.
