Atlas NextWave is currently supporting a leading engineering business looking to appoint a senior technical leader to support the growth of its power and energy division.

This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical engineering professional to take on a strategic leadership role, combining technical design expertise, project delivery and business development across major transmission & distribution and energy infrastructure projects.

The Role

- Lead complex power infrastructure projects from early-stage development through to design and delivery.
- Provide technical leadership across transmission, distribution, renewable energy, BESS, hydro and large-scale grid connection projects.
- Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard.
- Mentor and develop engineers while supporting the growth and performance of the wider team.
- Drive business development, build strong client relationships and assist in securing new project opportunities.




- Contribute to the strategic direction and expansion of the transmission and distribution offering across Australia and the broader region.

About You

- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering with a robust background with significant experience in transmission and distribution engineering.
- Extensive experience delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical leadership and project management capabilities.
- A proven ability to lead teams, develop relationships and drive business growth.
