Technical Lead – Oracle RMS for

Melbourne location

- Australian Citizen / PR / Full work rights (no sponsorship)

- Melbourne (Onsite)

- 4 month contract

- Experience: 9–12 years

The role will focus on providing hands-on technical leadership across the

Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) v11

environment. This includes resolving complex production issues, developing PL/SQL and integration solutions, managing batch processing, and guiding the development team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading technical delivery and support across the

Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail v11

workplace.

- Designing, developing, enhancing and troubleshooting RMS solutions.

- Developing and optimising

PL/SQL and SQL procedures, packages and queries.

- Supporting integrations using Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB).

- Working with

Oracle Retail Allocation and related merchandising processes

.

- Developing and maintaining





Unix shell scripts and batch jobs, scheduled via Autosys and/or Control-M.

- Analysing production incidents, finding root causes and implementing permanent fixes.

- Providing technical guidance, code reviews and mentoring to the team.

Desired experience:

- Strong hands-on Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail Merchandising System experience.

- Oracle Retail v11 (essential).

- Advanced Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.

- Oracle RIB (Retail Integration Bus).

- Oracle Retail Allocation.

- Unix/Linux shell scripting.

- Autosys and/or Control-M job scheduling.

- Retail domain knowledge covering merchandising, inventory and allocation.

- Previous Technical Lead / team leadership experience.
