We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Oracle RMS to support a major retail environment in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on Oracle Retail technical expertise , particularly across Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail v11 , integration, databases and production support.

? Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical delivery and support activities across the Oracle RMS environment
- Design, develop, enhance and troubleshoot Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail v11 solutions
- Develop and optimise PL/SQL and SQL procedures, packages and queries

• Support integrations using Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB)

• Work with Oracle Retail Allocation and merchandising processes

- Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts and batch-processing solutions

• Manage scheduled jobs using Autosys and/or Control-M

- Analyse production incidents, identify root causes and implement permanent fixes
- Work closely with business, functional, integration and support teams
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews and mentoring to development team members




- Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability and retail operational requirements

? Essential Skills

✅ 9–12 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within large retail environments

✅ Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail Merchandising System

✅ Robust experience with Oracle Retail v11

✅ Advanced Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills

✅ Experience with Oracle RIB (Retail Integration Bus)

✅ Experience with Oracle Retail Allocation

✅ Strong Unix/Linux scripting experience

✅ Experience with Autosys and/or Control-M

✅ Strong understanding of retail merchandising, inventory and allocation processes

✅ Experience troubleshooting complex Oracle Retail production issues

✅ Previous Technical Lead / Team Lead experience

✅ Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
