We are looking for a driven and technically capable Technical Sales Engineer to join our client's expanding team based in Epping.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to sales growth and identifying new opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
- Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations, and customer consultations.
- Provide technical advice and pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.
- Partner with local and overseas teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes.
- Assist with customer onboarding, product training, and ongoing account management.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support future product and business strategies.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and reporting within the CRM system.

About You Essential Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, engineering, telecommunications, networking, IT, or a similar technical role.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Confident in presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- vValid driver licence able to commute to office with your own car

Desirable

- Experience with telecommunications, fibre optic, networking, or infrastructure solutions.
- Background in solutions engineering, customer support engineering, or other customer-facing technical roles.
- Exposure to global business practices or experience working within an international organisation.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Australia and NZ.
