Territory Sales Representative - Automotive & Workshop Supplies

Regional NSW | Ideally based in Tamworth or Narrabri

$80,000-85,000 super - realistic first-year earnings including base salary and commission.

Sealtite International is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to take over an established customer territory across North West and Central West NSW.

This is an on-the-road sales role with a difference. You'll operate from a fully maintained company vehicle stocked with our products, effectively running a mobile shop and regularly visiting an established base of tyre and mechanical workshops.

The territory has been developed over more than 30 years and comes with a strong existing customer base. Your job is to look after those relationships, keep customers supplied and continue growing the territory through increased sales and new customers.

Previous tyre industry experience is not required. We're more interested in finding someone reliable, personable and motivated who enjoys dealing with customers and is comfortable working independently on the road.

The territory The territory covers a large part of regional NSW, including Tamworth, Narrabri, Glen Innes, Lightning Ridge, Dubbo, Bourke, Molong and surrounding towns.

Tamworth or Narrabri would both make excellent home bases for the territory, although applicants from elsewhere within the region are welcome to apply.

The role involves approximately seven nights away from home per month, generally 1–2 nights per week.

What you'll be doing

- Following an established customer run, visiting tyre and mechanical workshops throughout the territory.

- Building relationships and helping existing customers maintain appropriate stock levels.

- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and introduce additional products.

- Finding and developing recent customers through prospecting and cold calling.





- Managing the stock carried in your company vehicle.

Who we're looking for

You don't need tyre industry experience. Experience in sales, automotive parts, agricultural or rural supplies, tools, industrial supplies, trade sales or other customer-facing roles would all be relevant.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised, enjoys dealing with customers and is comfortable working independently. You'll also need to:

- Be confident approaching and introducing yourself to new businesses.

- Be comfortable spending much of your working day driving throughout regional NSW.

- Be able to regularly handle products up to 20kg.

- Hold a full Australian driver's licence and have suitable off-street parking for the company vehicle.

An MR licence will be required, but you don't need to already hold one — it can be obtained for the role.
