Your Role
As a Theatre Orderly, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, support the delivery of high-quality patient care while providing assistance and essential support services to clinical staff within the Operating Suite.
We have permanent full-time, part-time and casual opportunities available for motivated professionals looking to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
The Position
- Participate in care of patients under supervision of nursing caregivers.
- Transport patients on trolleys and beds.
- Assist in positioning and transferring patients.
- Ensure patients' dignity and privacy is maintained.
- Hold patients' limbs during preparation for surgery.
- Support patients during insertion of epidurals.
- Assist PACU caregivers with positioning patients.
Applicants will be considered for future vacancies that become available over the next 6 months.
You will demonstrate a working knowledge of safe basic manual handling principles and be physically capable of undertaking duties including pushing, pulling and lifting activities.

We can offer
- Salary: $64,436 to $67,489 per annum (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation
- Casual Rate: $40.63 to 42.55 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
