Sora Community Services is seeking a suitable candidate to undertake a two-year, full-time Community Services Traineeship. This opportunity combines practical, on-the-job training with dedicated study time to complete a nationally recognised Certificate in Community Services.

Working under supervision, you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to work with women aged 18 years and over who have separated from a violent partner and choose to remain in their own home or another home of their choice.

Previous office or community services experience is not required. This opportunity may suit a recent school leaver or someone seeking a meaningful career change.

About You The successful candidate will:

- Be available to work full time, Monday to Friday, for 24 months

- Have strong verbal and written communication skills

- Be organised and demonstrate excellent attention to detail

- Be self-motivated, reliable and willing to learn





- Be able to prioritise tasks and manage their time effectively

- Understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality

- Demonstrate a mature, respectful and non-judgemental approach

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements apply to this traineeship. Applicants must be:

- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen; or
- An Australian permanent resident

Qualifications completed after high school may affect your eligibility for the traineeship.
