Role Description This is a full-time, on-site or home based Travel Consultant role based in Nelson Bay, NSW.

The Travel

Consultant will design customized African travel itineraries, including accommodations, tours, transfers, and other travel arrangements.

Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budgets, preparing detailed quotations, managing bookings and reservations, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role involves ongoing customer service before, during, and after travel, troubleshooting any issues,



and liaising with suppliers such as hotels and tour operators.

The Travel

Consultant will also maintain up-to-date destination knowledge, contribute to sales targets, and support general office and administration tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with experience designing and coordinating complex itineraries.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including booking flights, accommodations, tours, and ground transport.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- Beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a travel agency or tour operator, knowledge of African destinations and safari products, and familiarity with booking systems and reservation software.
- Additional desirable attributes include strong attention to detail, sales aptitude, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in an in office team environment.
