Sibanye Stillwater Australia is currently seeking a motivated Utility – Site Support team member to join our Century Mine operations at Lawn Hill.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established site during an important period of change. Century Mine is approaching the final stages of hydro mining, with mine life currently through 2027, while also preparing for rehabilitation activities and the potential future development of phosphate operations.

The role is offered on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) from Cairns on a 15/13 roster, based at Century Mine.

About the role

As a Utility – Site Support team member, you will provide practical support across village and site services, including accommodation cleaning, kitchen and dining support, laundry, bar operations, stock control and general site support. You will help maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, presentation and customer service across the operation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Completing accommodation, cleaning and housekeeping duties to a high standard.

- Supporting kitchen hand and dining room operations.

- Completing laundry attendant duties as required.

- Supporting bar and retail operations in line with relevant requirements.

- Following all health, safety, food safety, hygiene and company procedures.

- Maintaining effective stock rotation and preparation practices to help minimise wastage.

- Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety focused and willing to work across a range of site support duties. You will be comfortable working in a remote FIFO environment and enjoy being part of a practical, hands on team.

To be successful in this role,



you will ideally have:

- Experience in remote village, camp, accommodation, cleaning, hospitality or site support work.

- Sound food safety and occupational safety knowledge.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- The ability to manage priorities and move between tasks during a shift.

- A strong customer focus and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in bar, retail or laundry operations, which would be highly regarded.

- Experience in airport ground support operations, which would be highly regarded.

Essential requirements:

- Basic Food Handler certificate.

- Current manual C Class driver’s licence or higher.

- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
