About the role

This is a full-time hybrid role ideally based in Brisbane. As a UX/UI Designer, your main goal will be to champion customer-centric design process and strategy.

Key responsibilities

- Create and deliver wireframes, prototypes and pixel-perfect high fidelity visuals using Figma that effectively address the problem outlined in the hypothesis, using available research, data and best practices.
- Ensure design systems and style guides are utilised to ensure all client work is on brand.
- Take an active and engaged approach in design elaboration, often contributing with well thought-out, strategic solutions that address the problem outlined in the hypothesis.
- When required, present design concepts with clear rationale to justify design decisions, referencing WCAG 2, research, data and best practices.
- Apply a solid understanding of WCAG 2 guidelines in all design work to ensure accessibility and compliance.
- Support the seamless implementation of design work by collaborating closely with other teams, mainly strategy and development.
- Assist research team with preparing UX/UI and Competitor Reviews.
- Stay up to date with current UX/UI, design and CRO trends. Bring new ideas to the design team to help foster a culture of learning & upskilling.

Experience & Skills





- Expert Figma ability including creating and using design systems.
- Bachelor's in a design related field and / or 2+ years in UX/UI Design.
- Ability to showcase 3 high-fidelity, portfolio pieces including rationale for all design decisions.
- Ability to gather and interpret data and research effectively to create informed designs.
- Capacity to evaluate information objectively and make well-reasoned judgments.
- Competency in utilising Apple Mac systems and Google Suites.
- Proficiency in utilising project management systems effectively.
- Optional: Desirable experience with designing for eCommerce and A/B testing.

- Attention to detail: High focus on details to ensure accuracy.
- Communication skills: Proficiency in conveying complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with diverse teams or departments to leverage insights, knowledge and share ideas.
