Digital Canberra is seeking an experienced Voice Technician to join our Unified Communications team.
The role of the Voice Technician will require you to support and maintain the ACT Government collaboration network across all Directorates and sites throughout the ACT, which can include the troubleshooting and rectification of faults and issues, as well as assisting in the configuration of voice, contact centre, video conferencing and digital signage services across the government. We are seeking an expert in collaboration technologies, with relevant experience in Cisco and with mobile devices and services. Documentation is also critical to this role, so the ability to review and update technical procedures, processes, knowledge base articles and configurations is essential.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- The successful applicant must be an Australian citizen and possess or acquire and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance at the Baseline level as an eligibility qualification.
- A class C or equivalent driver’s license is essential.
- This position may require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 7 July 2027. The position requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and possess an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency security clearance at the Baseline level as an eligibility qualification for the position. If screening is not successful, your employment will not commence or, if already commenced, your employment will be reassessed.
This role is also an ACT based position, and only applicants who are based in the ACT or willing to relocate will be considered.
