Our client is taking over a new dental clinic in Canning Vale and is looking for a clinically confident Oral Health Therapist to become an key part of the practice as it grows.
The clinic features two treatment chairs and is being developed with a strong focus on quality patient care, clinical autonomy and providing a broad range of dental services to the local community.
With reception staff managing patient bookings and administration, you can focus your time and energy where it matters most – delivering excellent clinical care.

About the position
Our client is looking for an Oral Health Therapist with full adult scope who is comfortable working independently across a broad range of treatments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an OHT who enjoys genuine clinical variety rather than being limited to hygiene appointments. Depending on your scope and experience, your day may include examinations, preventive care, scaling and periodontal treatment, composite fillings and dental extractions.
As this is a newly established clinic, the position is initially available on a casual basis while the patient base develops, with a genuine view towards transitioning into permanent part-time employment.
There is flexibility around remuneration, with our client open to discussing either a salary or commission-based arrangement depending on your experience and preferences.

Key Requirements

- Qualified Oral Health Therapist with current AHPRA registration




- Clinically trained and confident working within full adult scope
- Comfortable performing restorative treatments including fillings
- Confidence performing extractions within your recognised scope
- Strong preventive, periodontal and oral health assessment skills
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work confidently and independently in a growing clinic
- Commitment to high standards of clinical care and patient experience
