I’m partnering with a highly regarded national law firm looking to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate lawyer to its growing General Insurance team in Melbourne.

This is a strong opportunity for an insurance lawyer looking for sophisticated work across property damage, coverage and indemnity disputes, with the opportunity to manage your own matters while working alongside experienced insurance partners.

The prospect

- Complex large-loss property damage and subrogated recovery matters
- Property damage liability defence litigation
- Insurance policy coverage and indemnity disputes
- Exposure to complex litigation, including mass tort and class action matters
- Manage matters end-to-end, including evidence, counsel, experts, mediations and Court proceedings
- Direct engagement with major Australian and international insurers

About you

- 3+ years PAE with insurance litigation experience




- Experience managing litigation matters through the Courts
- Strong drafting, advisory and client management skills
- Coverage and indemnity experience highly regarded
- Property damage, recovery or liability experience advantageous
- Associate and Senior Associate level candidates encouraged to apply
