TRACKS Integrated Services is seeking reliable, resilient and community-minded individuals on behalf of our client for Custody Officer opportunities in Broome, WA.

About the Role
As a Custody Officer, you will help maintain the safety, security and wellbeing of people in custody across court, transport and escort duties.
Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising and supporting people in custody
- Conducting secure transport, court and medical escorts
- Maintaining security and conducting welfare checks
- Managing challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Completing required reports and records

Pay, Training & Benefits

- 5 weeks fully paid training
- $27.35/hr during training
- $29.50/hr following training
- $30.93/hr after 12 months and completion of Certificate III
- $10,189 annual regional allowance
- $256 per fortnight State Government Pay Contribution Allowance
- Guaranteed minimum hours with overtime and penalty rates
- 175% Saturday and 200% Sunday rates
- Five weeks annual leave for shift workers
- Ongoing training and career development
- Certificate III in Correctional Practice

About You




We're looking for people who are respectful, resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations.

You will need to:

- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Be available to complete the five-week training program
- Commit to a minimum of 12 months to complete the Certificate III
- Demonstrate a professional and respectful approach
- Successfully complete pre-employment medical, fitness and background checks
