Senior Electrical Engineer – Rail | Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney
Permanent | $140k–$180k + Super

Join a global engineering consultancy on major Australian rail projects. You'll be based in their Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney office, in a team that backs its engineers and values solid design thinking.

The role You'll lead electrical design on rail and major infrastructure projects. That covers stations, HV systems and building services, and it means working closely with the wider project team to deliver designs that can actually be built.

What the team is looking for

- Rail, station design or Australian major infrastructure project experience
- Chartered Professional Engineer status (CPEng or similar), or a willingness to work towards it
- Current or previous RIW System roles as designer, checker or approver
- Experience designing HV systems, building services, heavy industrial or process projects




- BIM and digital engineering tool experience
- A solid understanding of constructability and how it shapes design outcomes
- Control system design experience
- Electrical fire system design experience
