We're not a big chain, and we're not trying to be. Decisions are made by people who know the venues, and issues are resolved on the shift—not in a meeting the following week.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you are the senior person on the floor when the Venue Manager is absent. You open or close, you run the team, you own RSA compliance on your watch, and you hand in a completed shift report at the end. The role sits across full time hours on a rotating roster.

This is not a stepping-stone title for someone who wants to look like they have management experience. It's the real thing.

What You'll Do

- Run shifts end-to-end: open/close, team brief, floor supervision, handover
- Own RSA compliance for the duration of your shift — this sits with you, not delegated
- Monitor shift commercial performance — revenue, labour,



wastage — and act on what you see
- Conduct the shift hazard walk-through and manage any safety or patron incidents as they arise
- Complete the end-of-shift report and maintain the handover log

What We're Looking For

- Current RSA certificate (WA-recognised)
- Current approved manager's licence.
- Proven experience supervising a team in a licensed hospitality venue
- Composed under pressure — you make the call, hold the line, and don't escalation routine matters upward
- Available for a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
