Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret, understand, andapply technical drawings and engineering documentation to perform vehiclemodifications and upgrades.
- Execute engineering workinstructions to ensure all modifications meet required technicalspecifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate effectively withcross-functional teams and support functions to identify opportunities forcontinuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Apply advancedproblem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges within amanufacturing environment.
- Complete all requiredquality, planning, and system documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to internal specialprocesses, including soldering, torquing, and other controlled manufacturingprocedures.
Your Profile
To beeligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications andattributes:
- Minimum 2-3years' experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, commissioning, rail, orindustrial environment.
- Trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent) in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or a related discipline.
- Demonstratedexperience performing functional, performance, and safety testing on railvehicles, rolling stock, or industrial equipment.
- Proficientin the use of diagnostic tools, test equipment, and systematic fault-findingtechniques to identify and resolve technical issues.
