Your Opportunity
We currently seek an energetic and motivated Storeperson to join our Bibra Lake location, providing support to VIKING Australia’s internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading / unloading of trucks and couriers
- Unloading and organising of container stock
- Local deliveries in the company truck or ute to local ports, potentially over some weekends
- Maintaining a clean and ordered warehouse
- Book outgoing customer freight using preferred suppliers
- Regular cycle counts and stock takes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Dangerous Goods and SDS registers
- Working with the internal ERP system (SAP)
to book out stock and goods receipting
- Monitor the Logistics inbox and action emails
- Some lifting and manual handling will be required
- Assist in other areas of the business as required
About you
- Valid and current driver's licence and forklift licence
- Customer focused and organised
- Have the ability to adapt and change to meet the situation
- Have strong attention to detail
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with computers
- Work well as part of a small team
- DG licence desirable but not essential
