The Company
Our client is undertaking a significant Modern Workplace transformation initiative within a highly secure environment. We have been advised that Akkodis is the preferred supplier and is currently in final contract negotiations. Due to commercial sensitivities, the client name cannot be disclosed at this stage.
The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Windows 365, Endpoint Security & Print Technical Engineer to lead the detailed design, build, configuration and validation of Windows 365, endpoint security and enterprise print capabilities.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Windows 365 and Cloud PC services
- Configure provisioning, networking, device images, user access and endpoint connectivity
- Validate Windows endpoint and third-party thin-client compatibility
- Implement endpoint security and compliance controls using Intune and Defender for Endpoint
- Deliver enterprise print services using Universal Print and Pharos Cloud
- Coordinate integration, testing, troubleshooting and security assurance
- Produce technical documentation and support pilot, rollout and operational handover
What Our Client Requires
Essential Experience
- Strong Windows 365, Cloud PC, Intune and endpoint management experience
- Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, FIDO2 and certificate-based authentication
- Solid Defender for Endpoint and Windows 11 security expertise
- Knowledge of ASR, EDR, security baselines, BitLocker and compliance policies
- Enterprise print experience with Universal Print and/or Pharos Cloud
- PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation experience
- Strong troubleshooting, solution design and technical leadership skills
