Westcon-Comstor is seeking a Zscaler Solutions Architect to join our team in Sydney. This is a unique chance to become the technical lead for the Zscaler portfolio, working closely with vendor, partner and customer teams to deliver technical success, build capability across the channel and drive business growth.

This role combines presales engineering, technical consulting, partner enablement and solution architecture, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technology and relationship building.

What you'll be doing

As our Zscaler Solutions Architect, you will:

Act as the technical subject matter expert for the Zscaler portfolio across Australia.

Support partners and customers throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and solution design through to demonstrations, workshops and technical validation.

Design and support Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Value (POVs).

Deliver technical enablement, onboarding and training programs for partners and internal teams.

Work closely with Zscaler sales and engineering teams to support customer success and pipeline growth.

Assist with architecture reviews, technical solution design and licensing recommendations.

Contribute to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tender responses.

Build strong relationships with partners, customers and vendor stakeholders.

Support partner certification and capability development initiatives.

Stay current on emerging security trends, Zero Trust principles and the evolving Zscaler portfolio.

This isn't a traditional presales role. You'll be the technical face of Zscaler within Westcon-Comstor,



helping partners grow their capability, supporting strategic customer opportunities and building a recognised reputation within one of the fastest-growing areas of cybersecurity.

You'll work alongside Zscaler field teams, channel partners and customers while building advanced certifications and expertise in Zero Trust, SSE and cloud security technologies.

What we're looking for

You are a strong technical communicator who enjoys simplifying complex concepts and building trusted relationships.

To be considered, you'll bring:

Experience in a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or similar customer-facing technical role.

Experience working with enterprise networking, cybersecurity or cloud security technologies.

Strong presentation, workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.

A proactive, commercially aware and customer-focused approach.

Highly regarded

Experience with Zscaler solutions.

Zscaler certifications such as ZCSA, ZCSE or equivalent.

Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, SSE, SASE, SWG,



IAM and cloud security technologies.

Experience working within a distributor, partner organisation or channel-focused vendor environment.
