Technician – LNG Shutdown

Western Australia | Now – Mid November 2026 | Major Shutdown Program

EnerMech is seeking experienced Technicians with a strong background in Temporary Equipment associated with Nitrogen Process operations, utilising Nitrogen Membrane Units, HP Air Compressors and Dryers to support a major shutdown in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering critical maintenance and shutdown activities on a large-scale industrial project from now through to mid-November.

About the Role





As a technician, you will be responsible for working within a team to conduct nitrogen purging operations during the LNG Plant shutdown, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project procedures and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Setup, operate and monitor Nitrogen Generation Units, HP Air Compressors, Dryers and associated equipment

- Completion of operational activities following procedure and direction of the Project Engineer and Supervisor.

- Assist with reporting and documenting operational records in a clear and concise manner.

- Ensure quality, health, safety and environmental systems are implemented and adhered to.

- Participate in pre-starts and toolbox talks

- Support safe and efficient execution of nitrogen purging activities

About You

To be successful, you will ideally possess:

- Proven experience as a Process Technician, or similar role on shutdown, maintenance, or turnaround projects.

- Demonstrated experience working with temporary equipment associated to items mentioned above.

- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Construction White Card

- Ability to pass Safer Together Medical

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

- High commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
- Must be resident of Western Australia and available for local onboarding requirements.
