- Work across Anglo American villages located in Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura

Area Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented and adaptable Area Sous Chef to support our kitchen teams across multiple venues. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in quick-paced environments and enjoys variety in their role.

About the Role

As a Area Sous Chef, you will work across different locations, providing leadership, maintaining food quality standards, and supporting kitchen operations where needed. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in every service.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Head Chefs in daily kitchen operations

- Lead and motivate kitchen teams during service

- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

- Ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations

- Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management

- Step into leadership roles when required

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie

- Strong leadership and communication skills





- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and environments

- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards

- Passion for quality food and team development

- Flexibility to travel between locations
