About the Role Reporting to the Senior Procurement & Maintenance Manager, the Compliance & Safety Coordinator will coordinate property safety, compliance and maintenance activities across the portfolio, ensuring checks, actions and rectification works are completed within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the end-to-end property safety and compliance program, including inspections, records and follow-up actions.
- Manage safety check providers, contractors and trades, ensuring reports, certificates and rectification works are completed on time.
- Coordinate property access with tenancy teams, including notices to enter and communication with renters and co-operative members.
- Identify and coordinate rectification works, tracking actions through to completion.
- Prepare weekly and monthly compliance reporting, highlighting overdue items, access issues, failed inspections and emerging risks.

About You

You will be a highly organised and detail-focused coordinator with experience working across multiple stakeholders, systems and priorities. You will bring:





- Experience coordinating property compliance, safety checks, maintenance programs and contractors, ideally within residential or community housing.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, ideally including the Residential Tenancies Act, OHS and privacy obligations.
- Confidence managing providers and stakeholders, following up actions, identifying risks and resolving issues.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, numeracy and reporting skills. A relevant qualification in property, facilities, building services or community services will be highly regarded.
