As the Information Technology Infrastructure Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security and ongoing development of the School's technology environment. Working under the guidance of the Head of Compliance & Operations, and with the IT Coordinator and IT Helpdesk, you will oversee the management of our network infrastructure, wireless systems, servers, storage platforms and device management solutions across multiple campuses.

This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise, problem-solving and strategic thinking. You will act as the technical escalation point for complex IT issues while also helping shape and deliver infrastructure improvements that support the School's long-term technology strategy.

About the role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Leading the day-to-day management, maintenance and optimisation of the School's technology infrastructure, including networking, wireless systems, servers, storage and mobile device management platforms.
- Acting as the senior technical escalation point for complex IT support issues and providing hands-on assistance to the IT Helpdesk team when required.
- Designing, documenting and implementing infrastructure solutions that are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned to the School's strategic objectives.
- Managing infrastructure projects and contributing technical expertise to ensure technology capacity continues to evolve with the needs of the School.
- Maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation, asset registers and lifecycle management processes.
- Coordinating with infrastructure vendors and managed service providers to support service delivery, troubleshooting and project outcomes.
- Supporting the School's student laptop program, including equipment management and loan device administration when required.
- Providing cross-campus support and assisting with after-hours maintenance and outage response as required.

About you

To be successful in this role you are:

- Committed to growing as an infrastructure specialist, bringing a technical foundation and curiosity that we will further develop in your time at TAS. Previous experience supporting enterprise networks, wireless environments, servers,



storage solutions and endpoint management platforms is well regarded.
- A proactive problem solver, able to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Technically versatile, with knowledge across Microsoft technologies, networking infrastructure, hardware, operating systems and cloud-based services.
- A strong communicator and collaborator, capable of working effectively with staff, students, vendors and external service providers.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Future-focused and innovative, always looking for opportunities to improve systems, security, efficiency and service delivery.

You will also bring:

- Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure and HP Aruba networking technologies would be highly regarded.
- Experience supporting multi-site organisations or multi-campus environments would be advantageous.
- Current Blue Card or ability to obtain one.
