Great opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at The Beach Club Collaroy, Sydney.

Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.

What you’ll be doing

- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to established venue standards.
- Running an allocated section during busy lunch and dinner services.
- Ensuring meals are delivered promptly and consistently.
- Checking the quality, freshness and presentation of ingredients and finished dishes.
- Assisting with daily preparation, stock rotation and inventory control.
- Reducing food waste and maintaining appropriate portion sizes.
- Following food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive kitchen.
- Supporting the Head Chef with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
- Contributing ideas for specials and seasonal menu items.




- Assisting and guiding junior kitchen staff when required.

What we’re looking for
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a busy pub, bistro or high-volume kitchen.
- Strong cooking, preparation and presentation skills.
- Ability to remain organised and calm under pressure.
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends.
