Ready to build a meaningful career in risk and compliance with one of South Australia’s most trusted organisations? Join RAA and play a key role in strengthening compliance and risk capability across the RAA Group.

This opportunity sits within the Governance & Risk business unit and supports the Senior Manager Governance & Compliance (and ultimately the Chief Governance & Risk Officer) in developing, implementing and maintaining frameworks and tools to support RAA’s regulatory and contractual compliance and risk management. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing trusted SME advice, supporting projects and initiatives, and helping ensure regulatory and contractual obligations and compliance risks are clearly understood and effectively managed.

This role offers variety, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a values-led organisation that prioritises safety, integrity and accountability.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitor regulatory change and assess business impacts
- Manage, investigate and assess incidents and breaches
- Prepare internal compliance reporting and support regulator reporting
- Draft and maintain governance, risk & compliance related policies, procedures and tools
- Undertake control testing for compliance and contractual risks
- Support the delivery of to RAA’s corporate insurance program, including broker relationship and claims
- Deliver governance, risk & compliance training and awareness initiatives
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote a positive risk and compliance culture

About You:

You’re a detail-oriented compliance,



risk or legal skilled who enjoys working at the intersection of regulation, risk and business operations. You’re confident interpreting regulatory and contractual requirements, providing practical advice, and communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels. You’re comfortable working independently while also contributing to a close-knit team.

- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience in compliance, legal or risk roles (essential)
- Experience in compliance, legal or risk environments (general insurance or financial services desirable)
- Strong understanding of risk and compliance management frameworks and regulatory obligations
- Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory guidance and translate it into practical business outcomes
- High-level research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and business systems
